RSS Feeds
Have you wanted a way to be updated on this blog? Because I don't support a newsletter, there's only one official method of doing this: RSS. RSS files are files that you're able to download and RSS readers will automatically pull from that file all of the recent information. For this blog, you're able to go to the home page and simply put /rss/ at the end of the URL to get an RSS file. You can also go to my author page and put it there to get only posts that come from me, as some of them I have my friends do.
What are some ways of doing this?
Well, let's go to the handy-dandy resource, FMHY.net. Here, you can search RSS and find anything the community has deemed worthy enough to be placed in the megathread. If you use Android (which will be locked down soon if we don't do something), you're able to use Open-Source applications such as Feeder ⭐ and ReadYou. If you don't use Android, there are still many websites that allow you to read from an RSS feed. Search for them yourself and see which ones you like!
There are also social media platforms that allow RSS feeds. For example, Discord. I know Discord has a huge problem right now, and I'm looking for different software frequently, but for now that's what I have. There are two main RSS feed Discord bots that are highlighted on FMHY: MonitoRSS and ReadyBot. These two Discord bots are hosted by the developers, but MonitoRSS is open-source and can be self-hosted. Let's look through the privacy policies to see which one is better in terms of privacy.

From this information, I will likely be using ReadyBot. If you have any other suggestions, please contact me at schmidty@paytabyte.me. Please note that this E-Mail is proxied via Cloudflare.
